You may enter the museum with your tickets at any time after 9:00am (12:00pm on Sunday). Final admission for the day is 30 minutes before close. 

Become a Member! If you buy tickets for a day of play at Wonderscope, you have 30 days to apply the price you paid for the tickets toward a Wonderscope membership – and you’ll enjoy unlimited free admission for a full year! Ask the front desk for details.

Summer Wonder Camp (Ages 4-6)

From creating unique puppet characters to performing in skits and plays, every child will develop their stage presence and imagination, all while having a blast in a supportive, fun-filled environment.

Weeks 4&8: Ocean Adventurers: Where young adventurers discover the wonders of the ocean—right here in the Midwest! Campers will explore marine life, ocean ecosystems, and the importance of conservation through hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and creative projects. While we may be far from the sea, we’ll bring the ocean to life with exciting games, science experiments, and art projects, sparking curiosity and a love for the water in every child!

Sensory Mondays (Non-Members)

Wonderscope is making this new opportunity available to individual families with children that have a breadth of sensory concerns that would benefit from a more controlled play space.  In addition to free play across all of our spaces and exhibits, we will also include our  pop-ups which will be modified to support the unique needs of our young friends. 

To ensure a positive experience for our guests with sensory concerns, it is important only families with children with sensory needs make a reservation for our Sensory Friendly Mondays.

Art Explorer

There is no wrong way to create!  The history of art comes alive and combines with hands-on creation for kids from 5 to 16.  Each class includes an entertaining and informative introduction to art history followed by the opportunity for students to become the artist—inspired by their learning!  Our weekly program is a wonderful opportunity for the inquisitive artist as well as parents wanting to enhance the homeschooling curriculum for their children with a program that meets both Kansas and Missouri Visual Art Standards, click for Homeschooling details.
